Mr. Larry Harris was born on October 14, 1950, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Joseph and Eula Harris.
He was united in holy matrimony to Mrs. Gloria A. Harris. This union was blessed with one son, Timothy M. Harris.
During his lifetime he was an employee working for Western Electric in Chicago, Illinois. Larry was drafted into the United States Air Force, where he served in Vietnam for our country. For Larry, once a soldier always a soldier, even in civilian life.
Larry celebrated life by touching many who came to know him. He was an encouraging, heroic and wise Pop and husband offering a listening ear to all who came to know him. He fellowshipped and had a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
We loved him dearly and adored my husband a lot. We knew he felt the same about us.
Larry departed this life for his heavenly home on June 24, 2012. He leaves to cherish his memories his loving wife, Mrs. Gloria A. Harris; son, Mr. Timothy M. Harris; three brothers, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Harris, Jr., Mr. Alan Harris and Mr. and Mrs. Timothy Harris; one sister, Mrs. Veronica Harris all of Atlanta, Georgia; and a host of aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, other close relatives and friends.
