Mr. Jodie James Harris, Jr. was born in Brewton, Alabama on August 5, 1928 to the late Pearlie and Jodie J. Harris, Sr.
Jodie J. Harris served in United States Army. He retired after serving more than twenty years. He also worked at Jefferson-Smurfit Container.
He leaves to cherish his memories, a devoted wife, Annette Harris; children, Scottie Ray Hardy, Jody Francine Brandon, Wayne Harris and Lillie Ruth (Larry) Pitts; one brother, John (Gussie) Harris; one sister, Gloria
Bosley; a devoted mother-in-law, Mrs. Ceola Lyons; three
devoted brothers-in-law, Glen Mallard, Willie (Bernice) Lyons and Alvin Arnold; two devoted sisters-in-law, Alice Lyons and Carla Mallard; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends and a dear friend, Robert Hardy.
