Mrs. Emma Jean Smith Hardaway
On March 29, 1935, a drama of life began. A baby girl, Emma Jean was born. This child was born to Fannie Ruth Smith. She played her role efficiently until the final curtain came down on June 2, 1988.
Emma Jean attended and completed West End High School. She was baptized and became a member of Springfield Baptist Church. Where she labored .as a loyal member of the church.
She leaves to cherish her precious memories, a son, Marcus, a daughter, Debra, five grandchildren, Byron, Teshia, Michael, La-Pryntiss and Marquez, one aunt, Lozie Leeks of Little Rock Arkansas, one uncle, W. Harold Smith, and a host of cousins, relatives and friends.
She joins her son, Michael, who predeceded her on .September 28, 1986.
