On August 7, 1919 in Bluffton (Clay county), Georgia, a handsome baby boy was born to the late Lester and Alice Hanks. His life would be shaped and fashioned in such a way that in the prime of his life, he would fall in love with God, consecrate and give his life to serving God. So much so that he would spend the rest of his life living and sharing the gospel with all those he came in contact with.

Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.
In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I
will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
There are always two sides, the good and the bad. The dark and the light, the sad and the gladBut in looking back over the good and the bad
We're aware of the number of good things we've had-
And in counting our blessings We find when we're through We've no reason at all to complain or be
blueSo thank God for good things He has already done. And be grateful to Him for the battles you've won,
And know that the same God Who helped you before Is ready and willing to help you once moreThen with faith in your heart Reach out for God's Hand And accept what He sends, though you can't
understandFor Our Father in heaven always knows what is best. And ifyou trust in His wisdom your life will
be blest. For always remember That whatever betide you.
You are never alone For God is beside you.
