For 100years she graced this earth through the wars and though The Depression. Her giving heart and warm smile was

she was so amazingly loved and had no rivals. What a wonderful life she live~ as she
displqyed her talents in baking cakes) pies) and muffins from scratch with no stomach aching. I thank God todqy) for this wonderful woman He created.
A sain~ a teacher; and an ange~ filled with love and no hatred. This is definitelY a celebration) as we shout Halleltfjah on one accord. For this woman is going home) to finai!J be with the Lord. We should all try to model and live a life similar to this. Putting Godfirst in all that we do and understanding the reason wf?y we exist.

rr;?t. ~~was born on August 31, 1912 in
Rutledge, Georgia. She was educated in Morgan County. She was
one of five children: Cora Lett, Harvey Little, Grant Perryman, and
Callie Randall all of whom preceded her in death. A former
employee of the Atlanta Public School System as a baker, she
remained a loyal employee for twenty years.
~- ~~ confessed Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early
age. She was a faithful member of Beulah Missionary Baptist Church for more than sixty-five years where she served on Mother's Board #1,James Freeman Usher Board, and a member of The Golden Eagles.
~- Cfl~ was married to the late Evans Griffin, Sr. and to
this union five children were born: Loisteen Ellis, Bobby Griffin,
Evans Griffin, Jr., Willie Griffin, and Gloria Ward. Loisteen,
Gloria and Evans preceded her in death.
~- Cfl~ who was affectionately known as "Big Mama" by
members of her family was the proud grandmother of twelve grandchildren: Carl Allen, Jr., Felicia Bell, Darryl Ellis, Scott Griffin, l<imberly Hammonds (I(enneth), Cheryl Lane, Freda McGhee, Christopher Ward (Erika), Eric Ward, Anthony Shopshire, Chelle Shopshire, and Matthew Shopshire. Carl Jr. and Darryl preceded her in death.
~. Cfl~ had sixteen great-grandchildren, fifteen great-great
grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Her greatgrandchild, Abreian )avon Ward preceded her in death in 2011.
~- Cfl~ leaves to cherish fond memories: her two sons,
Bobby Griffin (Portia) and Willie Griffin; her loving family: Mrs. Tracy Ellis, Mr. Horace Johnson, Ms. Renee Shopshire; her church family, Ms. Annie Smith and .Nls. 0. E. Tribble, who she affectionately referred to as her play-daughters; a host of extended family members: Mrs. Glenda Lock and family, Mrs. Dawn \Vashington and family, Ms. Angela Hamilton and the Bolden family.
