Shimeka Lashanta Gresham was born in Atlanta, Georgia on September 20, 1975 at Crawford Long Hospital to Mr. Bobby and Mrs. Elizabeth Gresham.
Shimeka attended public school and was a graduate of Henry Grady High School and attended Atlanta Area Tech where she graduated.
Shimeka has three children. She was a devoted mother. Shimeka loved church, music of all kinds, her farriily and all those who came in contact with her. She simply loved life!
We are blessed to have known her and will miss her greatly. We are comforted in knowing that she was loved and served the Lord. We shall be together again someday in God's I<ingdom.
She leaves to cherish her memories: children: Shamiah Cheathem, Ranocko Gresham, and Iyana Gresham; grandbaby, Zola Cheathem; mother, Elizabeth Gresham; father, Bobby Gresham; brother, James Anthony Collier; grandmother, Ruby J. Collier; godmother, France Thyme; aunts, Sylvia Land and Gean Terry; nephews, Dei\nthony Walters, Evan A. Collier, Marquita Collier and Maria Collier; and a host of other relatives and friends.
