"To everything there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heavens. " Ecclesiastes 3:1 A TIME TO BE BORN "Who can find a virtuous woman? For her price is above rubies." Doris J. Frazier Green was born on May 16, 1944, in Atlanta, Georgia to the late Rev. Garrett F. Frazier and the late Mother Elizabeth Frazier.
A TIME TO GROW "Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: But a woman thatfeareth the Lord, she shall be praised." Doris attended Forest Avenue and English Avenue Elementary Schools and Booker T. Washington High School. Circumstances in her life got in the way she wasn't able to complete her education. However, because of her willingness to never give up, she went back to Booker T. Washington High Evening School in 1992 and earned her Diploma, graduated Valedictorian, received the Journal Cup Award and was crowned Ms. Booker T. Washington High Evening School.
She attended church as a little girl with her parents at Community Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. E. D. Dawson.
As she grew older, her father, Rev. Garrett F. Frazier, pastored Maxey Hill Baptist Church in Jefferson, Ga. where she received salvation and was baptized.
A TIME TO SHARE "Give her the fruit ofher hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates. " Doris was employed by Salvatore Leather Goods in Atlanta, Georgia. She was later employed by the Atlanta Public School System. She retired from Collier Heights Apartments after serving as a leasing agent for over 20 years. After her retirement she wanted to continue to serve God's people and worked as a Home Health Aid where her affectionate and contagious smile brought joy and comfort to the many patient's she cared for.
Doris was in love with God, loved her Pastor Rev. William Smith and loved her church. She served faithfully in the Israel Baptist Church Music Ministry, as a Deaconess and on the Jr. Mother's Board.
A TIME TO LOVE "Her children rise up and call her blessed." On January 7, 1962, she was blessed with the gift of a beautiful baby girl Melissa Ann Scott. Melissa blessed her with three beautiful grandchildren and four great-grand children that she loved and cherished with her whole heart.
One of her favorite sayings was, "/love you more " and she would flash that warm and loving smile.

ATIME TO DEPART "Strength and honor are her clothing an she shall rejoice in the time to come. " During the later part of May 2014, she began to experience a little leak in her building. A little patching here and there, but God needed this soldier in heaven. He was preparing her place and in the early morning on April14, 2016, she answered His call and left her old house for a newer mansion with God. She was preceded in death by her father Rev. Garrett F. Frazier, mother Elizabeth Frazier, brothers Jasper (Jack) Frazier Rasheed, Garrett (Bunny) Frazier and sister Sandra Elaine (Sam) Frazier Laboria.
ATIME TO KEEP "She p erceiveth that her merchandise is good; her candle goeth not out by night. " She leaves to cherish her memory a loving and devoted daughter Melissa Ann Scott; two granddaughters Monique Robinson and Miranda Scott; one grandson Mario Scott; three great-granddaughters Makayla Farley, Jedaiah and Jordyn Scott; one great-grandson Ethan Jones; two sisters Apostle Myra Frazier and Evangelist Beverly Frazier; one brother Phillip Michael (Valencia) Frazier; sister-in-law Mildred L. (Jack) Frazier Rasheed; three aunts Mrs. Nina Willis, Mrs. Pecola Kirby, Mrs. Annie Lee Spratlin; a very special loving and devoted friend Mr. Charlie Young; God-children Johnna, Stefanie, Linda, Myron, Wendy, Gregory and Derrick; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
