The family wishes to thank each of you whom, over the past year, have visited and prayed for Ruby and stayed with her during the night. She was truly a child of God. We know she is in Heaven doing what she does best, directing the choir and praising God. This is a time of rejoicing. We will forever be grateful to God for gracing us with her presence.
In her time with us she touched many lives. She was a true WOMAN OF GOD. She ran the race and finished her course. To God be the Glory.
Thank you for your cards, food, telephone calls, flowers and most of all your prayers. We are grateful for each act of loving kindness shown throughout Ruby's illness and at her Homegoing.

Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free, I'm following the path that was laid for me. I took his hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day, to laugh, to love, to work or play.
Tasks left undone must stay that way, I found that peace at the close ofthe day. Ifmy parting has left a void, Theff1111 it with remembered joy.
A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, Oh yes, those things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow, I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow.
My life's been full, I savored much, Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch.
Perhaps my time seemed all to brief, Don't lengthen it now with undo grief.
Lift up your hearts and share with me,

Ruby brightened the room with her infectious smile and enthusiasm. She had a deep abiding love for God that could only come from the real fellowship with Him. She was no stranger to adversity and had many wonderful testimonies to the power and presence ofGod in her life. She was always ready with an encouraging word. When asked how she was able to smile through her hard times, and still be a blessing to others, she said, "Just knowing God is with me. We are going to encounter trials, but the endurance comes through worshipping Him. As my relationship with Him grows, I know I can go through the trials in my life."
