Life S~tclies

I;..

Mr. Henry Goss was the third child born to the loving

parentage of the late Rev. Lovett and Mabel Sanford Goss on

January 5, 1935 in Rutledge, Georgia. There in Rutledge, he attended elementary school. His high

school years were. spent at Burney High School in Madison,

Georgia. Somthing beautiful adorned his life in the marriage to Bertha

Urquhart on September 4, 1964. For thirty-eight (38) years they

have shared everlasting joy, love and happiness. Henry was employed for several years with Sears, Roebuck
& Company. His remaining occupational years were spent with

the Covington Police Department and the Newton County Sheriff

Department. If you visited the courthouse lately, you could find

him there directing you and examining your bags for security

purposes. His warm smile and hearty welcome brightened your

day. We will miss his presence. Left to cherish his memories in addition to his wife, Bertha are

sons: Curtis Goss, Larry Rivers (Barbara), Shelton (Tony)

Bolden, Forlaipea (Bay Boy) Bolden; Brothers: Alonzo Goss
