Torrey Allan Gore was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on
D cember 27, 1978 to Larry Allan Gore and Jacqueline
H milton Gore.
He attended primary school in the Fulton County School System. He graduated from Westlake High School in 1996. Following graduation, Torrey attended Morris Brown College in Atlanta, Georgia and Atlanta Area Technical School. He was A+ Certified in Heating and Air Conditioning upon completing studies und:e:~r ~t~h:e._....=~~~=:=;-r tutelage of his uncle, Billy
Hamilton. Afterwards, Torrey was employed many years by Morehouse School of Medicine, where he used his skills to maintain and repair the school's heating system and air conditioning units. He also worked many years completing jobs with his Uncle Billy. Torrey continued to be a hard worker, employed as a forklift operator while completing side jobs in heating, air, and refrigeration.
Torrey had many hobbies, which included being an avid herbalist and an enthusiastic gardener. His extracurricular activities included bowling and baseball. He was considered an excellent bowler. In addition, he was an animal lover with a special love for pit bulls.
On August 17, 2014, Torrey was called home to be with the Lord and to be reunited with his beloved Aunt Martha, Uncle Billy and Thunder (James Rucker) .
Torrey leaves to cherish his memory, his loving mother, Jackie Hamilton; father, Larry Allan Gore (Sue); two sisters, Chanel Rucker and Krystal Gore; two brothers, Lawrence Gore and Lorne Johnson; one nephew, Simeon Singletary; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives and friends who loved him dearly.
Love Lives On
Those we love remain with us for love itself lives on,
And cherished memories never fade Because a loved one's gone... Those we love can never be more than a thought apart
For as long as there is memory, They'll live on in our heart.
