OBITUARY
Miss Audrey Mae Gibson formerly of Cedartown, Georgia passed away on Thursday, March 14, 1974 at Green point Hospital in Brooklyn, New York after an extended illness.
She was born on June 10, 1941, to the parents of the late Ralph E. Gibson and Laura Kemp Gibson.
She joined Berry's Grove Baptist Church at an early age. After graduating from high school, she moved to Brooklyn, New York and worked as a nurse and later as a telephone operator until her illness.
Leaving to mourn: one son, Corey Gibson, Brooklyn, New York, Mother, Mrs. Laura Kemp Gibson of Cedartown; four sisters, Mrs. Bernice Johnson of Chattanooga, Tenn.; Mrs. Susan Garten of Atlanta, Ga. ; Mrs. Barbara Dorsey and Ms. Lavonne Gibson both of Cedartown, Ga.; three brothers, Mr. Joseph Gibson of Dayton Ohio; Mr. Ralph Gibson and Mr. James E. Gibson both of Cedartown, Ga.; Grandmother. Mrs. Lorene Gibson of Cedartown, Ga.; Great-Grandmother, Mrs. Aggie Ammons; a very devoted friend, Mrs. Eddie Mae Burke, Broklyn, New York; eight Aunts; three Uncles; three Great-Aunts; two Sisters-in-law; three Brothers-in-law; and a host of nieces, nephews an9 cousins.
Sunset and Evening star and one clean call for me and may there be no mourning at the bar when I put out to sea.
