I have not gone far, I still see Those tears you shed are for me. I am not unhappy, I am not sad I just thank G<>d for all we had.
I did not choose to go away But G<>d told me I couldn't stay He reached for me with loving care. Now dry your eyes and remember me For where I am was meant to be To you that I have left behind The love we've shared will always bind.
Until we meet again one day I've not gone far, I am just away.

Sister Louise Franklin was born in DeKalb County, Georgia on November 8, 1941 to the late Benjamin and Sadie K. Franklin. Our Heavenly Father called her home for a perfect rest .
Louise attended Bruce Street School, where she also attended night classes.
She loved working with food. Working in restaurants was her thing and when St. Paul had an affair dealing with food she was always by her sister-in-law side, Emma. Louise was a time person. She was always on time for church and work at Piccadilly and The Glory Restaurants.
Louise had a heart of gold. She loved her nieces and nephews and helped raise them. She also helped raise both black and white kids and Louise worked with the sick and elderly.
She worked on the Senior and #2 Usher Boards for many years. Louise was a kind hearted person. She will be missed by all that knew her.
Sister Louise Franklin leaves to cherish her loving memories four brothers, Benjamin A. Franklin, Woodie (Emma) Franklin, James (Barbara) Franklin and Jerome Franklin; very close family friends, the Mannings and a host of nieces , nephews, cousins, great nieces and friends.

Weep not for me though I am gone
Into the gentle night. Grieve if you will but not for long,
Upon my soul's sweet flight. I am at peace, my soul's at rest.
There is no need for tears. For with your love I was blessed
For all those many years. There is no pain, I suffer not,
The fear now all is gone. Put now these things out of your thoughts.
In your memory I live on. Remember not my fight for breath;
Remember not the strife. Please do not dwell upon my death,
But celebrate my life.
