Eddie L. Farmer, the daughter of the late George Parker and Francis Parker Hart was born January 21, 1932 in Ben Hill. She departed this life April 27, 2014 at Atlanta Medical Center.
Eddie received her education from Jefferson High School in Doulgas County. She loved traveling, cooking and spending time with family and friends. She accepted Christ at an early age.
Eddie united in marriage with Calvin T. Farmer; together they celebrated 53 years of love and wedding bliss.
Eddie leaves to cherish her memory; a devoted and loving husband, Calvin T. Farmer "Cootie"; stepson, Bernard Dawson; three sisters, Betty L. Barge, Cathy L. Alexander and Mr. and Mrs. Ricky (Joyce) Turner; one brother, Leroy Hart; two brothers-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Richard (Sarah) Farmer and Frances Farmer; three .sisters-in-law, Mozelle Farmer, Libby Farmer and Claudia Johnson; one grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends .
"Farewell"
I woke up looking around As I lay on a bed offluffy clouds. Then I jle-w to a golden gate with pearls on it as a golden path led me to a group ofangels coming to say hello. At last we laid on our clouds and gazed at the stars As we thought ofour good times
I dreamed my favorite dreams as others watched the shimmering moon.
