Was called from his earthly labors Monday morning, March 17, 2014 to enter a Kingdom of Eternal Peace.
Mr. Farley was a native of Putman County and a lifelong resident of Atlanta, GA. He was born April 23, 1930 to Mr. and Mrs. William (Lula Bell) Farley. He attended St. Luke Community School and later worked at Mead Package in Atlanta, Georgia, where he was also a business owner of several gas stations. He was a member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church.
He was united in marriage September 21 , 1952 to Sophronia Carter who preceded him in death and to this union six children were born; two who preceded him in death, Leon Farley and Patricia Pitts.
Cherishing his memories, three daughters Josephine (James) Marcus, Valerie Farley and Virginia (Jonathan) Hudson; one son, William Farley, Ill; one sister, Mamie Farley; three brothers, Mr. George Farley of Eatonton, Earnest and Darlene Farley of Arizona, Mr. Roy and Annie Farley of West Palm Beach, Florida; 19 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends.
