SUMMATION
Dorothy Ross Evans was born on October 18, 1931 in Eatonton, Georgia, to Dave and Jennie V. Ross, who preceded her in death.
"Dot," as she was affectionately called, grew up in the Pleasant Hill Community after her parents moved to Macon, Georgia and she attended the public schools of Bibb County.
At an early age, she accepted Jesus Christ as her per.. sonal Savior and joined New Hope Baptist Church.
Dot was formally joined in Holy Matrimony to Benja.. min Evans. To this union one son was born, Jitnmy. Dot was a loving mother to her son.
She was fonnerly ernployed at Artistic Flower Shop, Macon, GA. After moving to Atlanta, she worked for Fort McPherson A. F. B. and later at Hartsfield Jackson Atlanta International Airport, where she worked until her health failed.
She leaves to cherish her metnories: son, Jimmy L. Ev.. ans, East Point, GA; brother, David T. ( Delores) R.o~s,
Riverdale, GA; grand daughter, Tresea Evans, Macon,
GA; Nephews, Ronald B. (Theresa) Ross, Riverdale, GA; Anthony T. Ross & Terrell L. Ross, both of River.. dale GA; Nicholas D. (Gayla) Ross, Lithonia, GA; and Timothy L. Ross, Los Angeles, CA; seven great-grand children and a host of other relatives and friends..
