Lee Jeffries Ellis was born in New York, New York on April 10, 1955 to the late William and Margaret Curry Ellis. Death came to him suddenly on Tuesday evening, July 12, 1977.
He was a member of the Bethel A. M. E. Church, a 1973 graduate of Reidsville Senior High School, a member of Company Delta, 230th Support Battalion National Guard, Reidsville Unit, and a member of Reidsville Y. M. C. A.
The immediate survivors are: one brother, William C. Ellis of Reidsville; his foster parents, Mr. & Mrs. Walter Falls, one aunt, Mrs. Lillian Vaughn, one uncle, C. W. Curry, a foster uncle, Joseph Johnson; all of Reidsville; one great uncle, Jimmy Lee Curry of Springfield, Massachusetts; other relatives and friends.
In sorrow we can't understand. And so we question, "Why?" But God in His omnipotence Is listeningfrom on high.
He hears when we cry out in pain. He knows the griefwe bear, And through a love that reaches out. He holds us in His care.
