06ituary
Dontezious Sataurus "Boonie" Ellington, the son of Debbie Ellington and the late Tommy Walker, was born on April 25, 1983 at Grady Mernorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia. God called His son Boonie horne to be with Hin1 on March 26, 2012.
Boonie was a beloved son, a caring uncle, a wonderful nephew and a loyal friend. He had a great spirit He loved everyone. Boonie loved his family to the "Fullest". Boonie's greatest desire was to take care of his family. He attended Sammye E. Coan Middle School as well as Alonzo A. Crin1 High School. Boonie was very well known in the neighborhood "Reynoldstown." Boonie was very helpful as he always went around the neighborhood doing odd jobs for his neighbors. He was full of life and his playful spirit showed through everyone he touched. Although Boonie fathered no children of his own, he treated all his nieces and nephews as if they were his own. Boonie will be greatly missed.
Boonie loved God. He dedicated his life back to Christ on October 16, 2011 at Faith Christian Fellowship Church.
Boonie is preceded in death by his father, Tommy jean Walker; grandfather, jimmy Frank (Preacher) Sanders and paternal grandparents, Etherene and Ralph Walker.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Debbie Ellington jones; he was also raised by a loving and devoted step father, Ronnie jones, Sr.; two brothers, Manderis Sante' Ellington and Ronnie Jones, Jr.; two sisters, Sherekia Therrell Walker and Torshekia Yadrika Ellington; grandmother, Annie Bell Sanders; aunts, janice Evans (Lester), Sandra Sanders (Mozell), Lisa Ann Weldon (Terry); uncles, jimmy Frank Sanders, Jr. (Ann), Richard Sanders, Mark Sanders (Cynthia); the Walker family, nieces, nephews; special friends, Shirika Bowen, Tavica Thomas and family, a host of other relatives and friends.
Don't Say I Gave Up Please don't say tl1at I gave up, just say I gave in. Don't say I lost the battle for it was God's war to lose or win. Please say I did my best, I tried to do what was right, to give tl1e most I could, not to do less. Don't be concerned about me now, I'm well witl1 God. I have made it home. Don't talk about what could have been, it's over and it's done. just see to my family needs; the battle has been won.
Thank God for all who loved me. Thank God that He loved me best, for my soul is at rest
