Altho your smiles have gone, and your hands we cannot touch; We thank God for precious memories,
of the one we loved so much; It breaks our hearts to lose you,
but you did not go alone; For part of us went with you, the day God called you home; God knows how much we'll miss you, your memories shall never fade; Our thoughts will always wander, to the spot where y ou are laid.

On Sunday, April26, 1992, Jesus whispered sweet peace to the soul of Sister Precious C. Eason, and took her home to rest.
Precious Chambers-Eason (Motherdear) was born February 12, 1912 to the late Mr. and Mrs. Jack Chambers of Lovejoy, Georgia. She attended school in Lovejoy.
Precious joined Ridge Grove A.M.E. Church, Lovejoy, Georgia at an early age. Later, she joined Grant Chapel A.M.E. Church in East Point, Georgia, then joined The Perfect Church in Atlanta, Georgia.
On November 19, 1940, she was united in marriage to John W. Eason of East Point, Georgia, and was happily married until she was called home. She was employed as a cook, which she enjoyed dearly for many years. During her walk in life with her loving heart and smile, she touched and made many people happy.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her devoted husband, Mr. John W. Eason; one godson, Mark T. Hamilton; two god-grandchildren, Perry Simmons and Tiffany Lowe, all of Atlanta, Georgia; three loving sisters, Mr. and Mrs. James W. Lovett (Ethel Kate), Mrs. Annie Bell Heard, Atlanta, Georgia, and Mrs. Betty Maddox, East Point, Georgia; an aunt; two special nieces, Delores Combs and Paulette Chambers; a host of other nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, cousins and friends.
She walked in paths that would be good, not only for her children, butfor others who might go that way. She was a delight to herfriends, a joy to her family and a source ofgoodwill to the stranger. She lived as she died, serene and precious. With the spirit oflife gone on the spirit of the way oflife shall ever remain to keep us guarded, to give us hope. This is the life of our loved one who has gone. May those behind catch the light of her life.
