Mr. John W. Eason was born February 28, 1917, to the late Lewis and Ethel C. Eason. He departed this life September 22, 1997 at Crawford W. Long Hospital.

He received his educatio11 in the public _schools of Clayton County, Georgia. He was drafted in the United States Army and served in World W3.! II. After two years of service, he received an Honorable Discharge.

He married the late P~ecious Chambers. Having so much love for

children, they raised three foster children, Mary and Mark Hamilton and

Perry Simmons. They adopted Darlene Eason, who preceded him in

death.

John was- a long time employee of the Atlanta Army Depot. He

' retired from there March 1974. During the early years of his. life, he

attended Grant Chapel A.M.E. Church. .

~ He leaves to cherish his memory: two daughters; .several grandchildren; foster granddaughter, Tiffany Lowe; three brothers; one si_ster; several nieces and nephe~rs; devoted niece, Delores _Barrow; two sisters-in-law; a dear friend, El~ie 0. Knight; a host of other relatives and friends. _
