"Be encouraged, no matter what's going on, He'll make it all right but you have gotta stay strong. I know right now it's impossible to see
God is gonna work it out, if you just believe. Remember, this one thing, while you're going through, if God delivered Daniel, guess
what, He'll do the same for you. Hold on, trouble don't last always, these trials are just a test ofyour faith. So stand strong and dry your weeping eyes 'cause joy comes in the morning and everything is gonna be all right." William Beckton
1Bto. 1itkl! 1ttomt Jlunn was born September 12, 1955, to
the late Rev. Aquilla Emanuel, Sr. and Mrs. Thelma Smith Dunn in Atlanta, Georgia at Henry Grady Memorial Hospital just one day after his mother had taught Sunday School at Turner Monumental A. M. E. Church. He was the youngest of four children. Bro. Ricky always wore a smile.
He received his early childhood education at the Atlanta Public School System. He attended: Rosalie Holly Wright Elementary School, he was one of the first students enrolled at the Frederick Douglass High School and attended and graduated from Henry McNeal Turner High School. He

attended Atlanta Junior College and Georgia State College where he majored in Political Science. Bro. Ricky was always an honor student.

Bro. Ricky was previously united in Holy Matrimony to Gayla Burton. He was the father of three (3) children: Maurice LaSalle, Darius Jerome and Kaila Marie Dunn. Ricky has been employed with the following companies: Sears, Roebuck & Co., Baranco Pontiac Dealership, Service America Food Service. Co. and lastly Parisian's of Atlanta.

Bro. Ricky accepted Christ at an early age at the Turner

Monumental A. M. E. Church. It was at Turner he accepted

God's calling to be a minister. After becoming annointed by

the Holy Ghost, he began his evangelistic trail by studying

under the following ministries: The Church of Life, the

Believers' Bible Ministries and God's First Breakthrough

Ministries. Ricky was a dedicated, faithful, loyal,

inspirational, motivational servant of the Lord. He was

chosen by God to be a witness for Him and he enjoyed

witnessing to others about the wonderful works of the Lord.

He was a tiredless servant of the Lord. He was annointed by

the Holy Ghost to be a teacher of God's Holy Word. Bro.

Ricky was well versed in the knowledge of the Bible. He

astounded many because it only took him a couple of minutes

to tell you in which book, chapter and verse a quoted Bible

passage came from. He could also give you the background

and historical information relative to the passage.

He will

be remembered for his Bible teachings , paraphrasing,

commentary and understanding of the Holy Scriptures. He

inherited these characteristics from both his earthly and

Heavenly Fathers. He leaves to cherish his fond memories, 3

devoted children: Maurice LaSalle, Darius Jerome and Kaila

Marie; a devoted mother, Mrs. Thelma Dunn; a loving

brother, Aquilla Emanuel, Jr. and 2 loving sisters: Mr. &

Mrs. Harry L.(Barbara D. Price and Mrs . Cynthia Louise

Dunn-Zachery; a loving former spouse, Mrs. Gayla Dunn; a

devoted sister-in-law, Mrs. Shirley Dunn, a devoted cousin,

Mr. Joseph Stanley Perry, uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces,

cousins, fellow laborers in the Vineyard and a host of

other relatives and friends.

'tJ/ut I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not,
even as others which have no hope. For if we believe
that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.. Wherefore comfort one another with these words." I Thessalonians 4:13-18

The flowers you sent were lovely;
The music you rendered was grand, During our troubles you stood by us
As if God had you in our plan.

Thank you for each card and each prayer; Each embracement, each word.
The cards you furnished were grand; The food you brought was superb.

Each pallbearer, each flower lady And each one of you who came;
The minister that spoke, the attendants We wish we could call each name. So thank you for your kindness And remeber us in your prayers, Whenever we can be of service, Surely, we'll be there..
