The Reverend Brian A. Jemmott, Officiating
Clifford Uriah Duncan was born on February 1, 1921 in Cross Keys, Jamaica, West Indies. He passed away on May 29, 2004 in Atlanta, Georgia. The son of Richard and Katherine Duncan, Clifford or Cliff as he was better known was the third of five children. He leaves to cherish his memories, a loving wife of fifty-five years, Maud Angeline ; his children, Wayne, Linette, Carlton and Yvonne; grandchildren, Randall, Ryan, Taira, Maurice, Taylor, Geoffrey, Dominic, Philip, Kanisha and Alexis; great granddaughter, Kaya; daughters-in-law, Karen and Marlisa; son-in-law, Philip; sisters, Caroline Heron and Clarise Morgan; brother, William Duncan. Mourning his departure are a host of nieces, nephews, Godchildren and friends.
He will be truly missed by sisters-in-law Almira Moyston, Osie Dwyer and Winell Thomas and brothers-in-law, Vincent Moyston and Dr. James J. Thomas.
Clifford enjoyed deep-sea fishing, horse racing, watching baseball, traveling, playing dominoes, working in his garden tending to his gungu peas and bananas around the house, and most of all playing with his grandchildren.
As a young man, Cliff came to the United States and lived in Brooklyn, New York for approximately forty years before returning to Jamaica. He was active in the Coral Gardens Neighborhood Association and developed new friendships with other retirees. A jovial person, he enjoyed entertaining in his home and never missed having a birthday party to celebrate another year of life.
We will continue to celebrate his life even though he is gone from our sight.

When all my labor and trials are over, And I am safe on that beautiful shore, Just to be near the dear Lord I adore, Will through the ages be glory for me.
0 that will be glory for me, Glory for me, glory for me, When by His grace I shall look on His face, That will be glory, be glory for me.
When the gift ofHis infinite grace, I am accorded in heaven a place Just to be there and to look on His face, Will through the ages be glory for me.
Refrain
Friends will be there I have loved long ago, Joy like a river around me willflow,
Yet just a smile from my Savior, I know, Will through the ages be glory for me.

The Lord's my Shepherd I'll not want, He makes me down to lie
in pastures green. He leadeth me the quiet waters by.
My soul He doth restore again and me to walk doth make within the paths ofrighteousness e'en for His own name's sake.
Yea, tho I walk thru death 's dark vale, Yet will !fear no ill;
For Thou art with me, and Thy rod And staffme comfort still.
My table Thou hast furnished in presence ofmy foes; My head thou dost with oil anoint, And my cup overflows.
Goodness and mercy all my life Shall surely follow me;
And in God's house for evermore my dwelling-place shall be.
Deep River my home is over Jordan Deep River, Lord I want to cross over into campground.
0 don't you want to go to that gospel feast, that promised land where all is peace.
0 don't you want to go to that promised land , that land where all is peace?

Amazing grace how sweet the sound that saved a wretch like me I once was lost but now I'mfound was blind but now I see.
T 'was grace that taught my heart to fear and grace my fear relieved. How precious did that grace appear, the hour I first believed
When we've been here ten thousand years Bright shining as the sun We 've no less days to sing God's praise, Than when we first begun

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy Name,
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
On earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
.
Andforgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power,
and the glory, for ever and ever,
Amen.

When peace, like a river attendeth my way, When sorrows like sea-billows roll; whatever my lot, Thou hast taught me to say, It is well, it is well with my soul.
Tho Satan Should buffet, tho' trials should come, Let this blest assurance control, That Christ has regarded my helpless estate, and has shed His own blood for my soul.
My sin- Oh, the bliss of this glorious thought- My sin- not in part, but the whole is nailed to the cross and I bear it no more, Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, 0 my soul!
And, Lord, haste the day when the faith shall be sight, The clouds be rolled back as a scroll, The trump shall resound and the Lord shall descend, Even so - it is well with my soul. It is well with my soul, It is well, it is well with my soul.

I am the Bread of life. You who come to me shall not hunger and who believe in me shall not thirst. No one can come to me unless the Father beckon and I will raise you up, and I will raise you up and I will raise you up on the last day.
The bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world and if you eat of this bread, you shall live forever, you shall live forever and I will raise you up,
and I will raise you up, and I will raise you up on the last day.
Unless you eat of the flesh of the Son of Man and drink of his blood and drink of his blood, you shall not have life within you and I will raise you up, and I will raise you up, and I will raise you up on the last day.
I am the Resurrection, I am the life, if you believe in me even though you die, you shall live forever and I will raise you up, and I will raise you up, and I will raise you up on the last day.
Yes, Lord I believe that you are the Christ, the Son of God, Who have come into the world and I will raise you up, and I will raise you up, and I will raise you up on the last day.

Mine eyes have seen the glory of the coming of the Lord; He is trampling out the vintage where the grapes of wrath are stored; He hath loosed the fateful lightning
of his terrible swift sword; His truth is marching on.
[have seen him in the watch-fires of a hundred circling camps; They have builded him an alter in the evening dews and damps; I can read the righteous sentence by the dim and flaring lamps, His day is marching on.
He has sounded forth the trumpet that shall never ca11 retreat; He is sifting out a11 human hearts before his judgment seat; 0 be swift, my soul, to answer him, be jubilant, my feet! Our God is marching on!
In the beauty of the lilies Christ was born across the sea, With a glory in his bosom that transfigures you and me; As he died to make us holy, let us die that all be free!
While God is marching on.
Glory, Glory Hallelujah, Glory, Glory Hallelujah, Glory, Glory Hallelujah, His truth is marching on.
