Victoria Davis was born June 14, 1945 in Muncie, Indiana the daughter of Lucille Kemp and Johnny Kurnes. Her friends and family affectionately called her " Vickie".
She attended School in Muncie, Indiana and graduated from high school in June of 1963.
She was united in marriage to Vernie Davis, Jr. in 1965. To this union she was blessed with one daughter, Althea Davis and later came her second child, Felita. In her early working career she was employed at Ball Memorial Hospital in the filed of nursing. She then joined General Motors Corporation, working in the factor for a number of years. She moved to Bowling Green, Indiana for a few years and finally moved to Atlanta, Georgia in the mid 80's. In Atlanta, she was employed at Mellon Bank until her death.
Mrs. Victoria, Davis age 57, departed this life on Tuesday, January 7, 2003 at Piedmont Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia with her family and friends at her side.
She leaves to cherish her memory: two loving daughters, Mrs. Althea Davis and her husband, Vernon; and Ms. Felita Davis and her companion Tobias; two sisters, Mrs. Sharon Prude of Detroit, Michigan and Mrs. Marilyn Kemp of Muncie, Indiana; three brothers, Mr. Fred Blanton, (her twin) Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Reese (Sherly) and Mr. and Mrs. Malhon Kemp (Jeraldine) all of Muncie, Indiana; a loving aunt, Mrs. Catherine Giles of Muncie, Indiana; two longtime and devoted friends, Pam Thompson of Muncie, Indiana and Deb Bonner of Fort Wayne, Indiana; a close friend, Belinda Glass and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
