Theresa "Boot" Jones Davis was born on July 20, 1945 to Charlie Jones and Sarah McGuire. At an early age, Theresa joined Lilly Hill Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend GB Marigna. She was a faithful member who served on the Courtesy Guild.
Theresa attended Trinity High School and Poro School of Cosmetology, where she was crowned Ms. Poro. After graduating she worked for many years for Donald's Salon as a colorist. She styled the heads of many celebrities while in the metro area.
Theresa was preceded in death by her father, Charlie Jones; mother, Sarah McGuire Armstead; stepfather, Reverend Archie Armstead; brother, Vernon Armstead.
She leaves to mourn a husband Albert Davis, Jr.; one son, ......""'.....'"'"'-'-""' Jones; four sisters, Queen Janet Armstead, Cecelia Wooc:lar~ru (Wade) and Linda Jones Smith; fo brothers, Willie Armstead, Armstead (Deana), Carlos Armstead (Sherion) and Brian Armstead (Corliss); sister-in-law, Mercedes Armstead; devoted aunt, Nell Jones; four stepchildren, Albert B. Davis, Anthony S. Davis (Contressa), Yolanda Davis and Anita Clopton; six step grandchildren; special friends, Dorothy Choates, Jacquelyn Burke, Mary Usher and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
