She was a cheerful giver through service and sacrifice, too, She gave us love, understanding, and wisdom in a way we all should do. Sitting in her straightback, wooden chair, she forecast the weather again.
"I feel my toes burning," she'd say, ''you better watch out for rain." "I saw some blackbirds flying the other day,
"Cold weather can't be far behind, it must be on its way." She blessed her sons with different gifts, with love and devotion. They gave her back the love she gave, they set her heart in motion. If ever something was broken, and she couldn't do anything with it, She handed it over to Johnny, Jr., she knew that he would fix it.
James would tell her a story that would last her for a while Laughing all the way through, he would, with a great big happy smile.
No vegetables tasted quite so great as the ones her Charlie grew, Collards and turnips fresh out of his garden; he brought her rabbit, too.
You know "Pet" is still so quiet, reading his comics and news He did everything she asked him to and followed all her rules.
Eddie Frank took care ofMs. Wes 'cause he's her baby boy, Together they lived throughout the years and shared each other's joy.
She's still in service for the Lord, only now she's up above; Standing right beside our Heavenly Father, teaching angels how to love.

Isn 't it good at the end of the day To look up at God and be able to say, "Dear Lord, I helped someone today. " But isn't it sad if instead you must say, "Dear Lord, I hurt someone today.
I drove the nails a little bit deeper And forgot that I am my brother's keeper."
Isn't it better when the day is done To know that you have injured no one.
From the time of your waking, Till you lie down to sleep,
Remember the promises that we should keep, To love one another as He loves us, too,
And you'll never regret any good that you do.

Don 't grieve for me, for I am free -I'm following the path God laid for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call, I turned my back and left it all.
I could not stay another day- To laugh, to love, to work, or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way. I found that peace at the close ofthe day.
If my parting has left a void, then fill it with rememberedjoy: A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss; oh, yes, these things I, too, will miss. Be not burdened with times ofsorrow -I wish you the sunshine oftomorrow. My life has been full, I savored much- Good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed all too briet don 't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me. God wants me now, He set me free!
