The Crown'S Flight
I witnessed an eagle in flight.. H e soars with such honor and pride
never touching the ground below. The higher he flies the farther his tears fall gracing the forehead of a once loved companion. H e is truly the last of his kind so his flights
are long and lonely. H e is comforted by a still song and short bursts of laughter.
Memories of a once cherished life are though t of briefly. These moments warm his heart and bring tears to his majestic eye.
His tears fall gracing the forehead of a once loved companion.
H e perches himself on the highest peak of the highest mountain so as to see what he left behind. Although he can not speak his presence is very much felt
creating comforting winds and loving whispers. His heart belongs to those he has transcended beyond.
The eagle flew above the clouds today it was his first time soaring that high. H e is as brave as he is heartbroken for his fligh t is once again traveled alone.
H e wonders how he can truly enjoy this life of affluent heights without those who hold his heart. The tears begin to swell in his eye
many tears fall and grace the foreheads of once loved companions.
If you have seen this eagle than you have seen true beauty. There is something familiar about
the way he effortlessly soars. H ow fitting for him to be such a regal
creature as he was once a king. H ow fitting for him to be such a regal creature as he was once a king. H ow fitting for him to be such a regal creature as he was once a
king. H e is the Crown's Flight. Rest in peace VIP I love u always
-Ash.

Q(~ of ~
Perhaps you sent a lovely card or sat quietly in a chair. Perhaps you sent a floral piece, if so we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the
kindest words, as only friends could say; Perhaps you were not able to be there at all, just thought of us that day. Whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you so much whatever the part. Your out pouring of kindness was a source of strength to us, and
we thank you very much.

r;/~ Q("~ C{d~ III was delivered into this
world on the 23rd day of August in 1988 to his loving and devoted parents, John and Michelle Cunningham. John Wesley Cunningham, III, known by his many friends and fans as "Veezy", was born at 10:42 PM at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia.
A vibrant and outgoing child, John attended Ahbuhcuh and Pine Ridge Elementary, Stephenson Middle School, Stephenson and Lithonia High Schools. An avid competitor and champion, John excelled in sports, the arts and whatever else he put his mind to and accumulated numerous trophies and awards to prove it. John received his high school diploma from Continental Academy in 2005 with an overall GPA of 3.4. He later attended and graduated from Pro Way Hair School in 2009. Also in 2009, John became a teacher for the Tree of Life organization.
An activist, mentor, poet and artist, John began mastering his craft behind the pen and on the stage in 2001, when he founded an elite local dance crew. In 2002, while brainstorming in his mother's kitchen, he and some of his closest friends established the infamous rap group "Kartel''. Kartel, which would later be renamed "BlakHouse", would go on to rock numerous venues including clubs, skating rinks, house parties and any other place that would spin their music or allow them to perform. His lyrics were filled with passion, concern for his family and community, vivid descriptions of his experiences and infused with wisdom far beyond his 22 years of life.
Destined for fame, John would go on to bless the microphones and stages of many shows, contests and venues with his non-stop energy and charismatic voice and was eventually given the opportunity to go on tour across the United States. In 2009, John and his fellow artist/brother, Anaya "Nayo" Obijiofor, formed the renowned hip hop organization the "ATL SMASHERZ". They were still enjoying the success of their latest mix tape, "2012", and were working diligently on their upcoming mix tape, "Smashers Island", when John was called home to be with the Lord.
John "Veezy" Cunningham's legacy will continue to live on through his parents, Mr. & Mrs. John and Michelle Cunningham, sisters; Tanyelle Mundy & Kayla Cunningham, God Brothers; Brian Cunningham, Richard Estep, Geoffrey Wilson, Durrell White, Anaya Obijiofor & Marquee Speights, Nephew; Grayson Amir Mundy, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, his ATL SMASH-
ERZ family and a multitude of other friends, family and fans.
