Ms. Monica J. Crenshaw was born on September 23, 1954 to the late Alice R. Davis of Atlanta, Georgia.
Throughout her life, Monica was very active with her singing and dancing career. Monica was a loving, devoted mother and sister. Her family could always take comfort in her. Monica departed this life on February 2, 2006.
She leaves to cherish her memory her loving and only son, Fredrick Crenshaw, and her seven grandchildren, Laterio, Shakeena, Artist, Fremondo, Ferari, Neko, and Malik. She also leaves behind six sisters, Genola of Thomson, GA, Bernadette, Lutisha, Rosetta, Samantha, and Brenda, all of Atlanta, GA. Also left to cherish her memory are two brothers, Willie of Atlanta, GA and Isaac of Peoria, IL, and one aunt Katie Ramsey of Philadelphia, PA; three brothers-in-law, Richard Humphrey and Tori Thomas, both of Atlanta, GA, and Willie Cobb of Thomson, GA will also mourn the loss, as well as one sister-in-law, Latifah Tiller of Peoria, IL and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
