Perhaps you sent a lovely card, or sat quietly in chair. Perhaps you sent a floral piece, if so, we saw it there. Perhaps you spoke the kindest words as any friend could say. Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day.
Whatever you did to console our hearts, we thank you so much, whatever the part.
May GOD continue to bless you.

Corinthia Cooper of McDonough, Georgia was called home on Tuesday, April 26, 2016 at the age of 54. She was born in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Clarice Bunting and Willie Edward Cooper.
Carinthia was known by the nickname "Turkey"; a nickname given to her by her late cousin, Paul Johnson, because as a baby, she made a noise that resembled the sound a turkey makes when she cried.
Raised in St. Louis, Missouri, Carinthia attended Langston Elementary School, O'Fallon Technical School, and Beaumont High School. She was very popular among her classmates, and kept them laughing all the time. After graduating from high school in 1980, she enlisted in the United States Navy where she proudly served her country. During her service in the Navy, she was awarded several medals and ribbons: Meritorious Unit Commendation (2), Navy "E" Ribbon, Good Conduct Award (3), National Defense Service Medal, Southwest Asia Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Armed Forces Medal, Sea Service Deployment Ribbon, and Navy and Marine Corps Overseas Service Ribbon, before receiving an Honorable Discharge in 1998.
Carinthia was a very loving and giving person who tried to help everyone she could. Her career in the Navy influenced her love for traveling. Other interests included listening to music, roller skating, and watching sports, but her most enjoyable interest was coloring in her coloring books. Because she was so health conscious, she often walked and ran to stay in shape and often shared her health recipes with family and friends.
She was a member of The Tabernacle of Praise International Church where she enjoyed serving. In her Christian walk, she helped in the homeless shelters and food programs.
She recently returned to duty and was accepted to the U.S. Coast Guard as a Merchant Seaman.
Carinthia is survived by four sisters, Tommie H. Nash, Laurene H. Tappin, Camille Cooper, and Andrea S. Cooper; half-sister, Cathleen Cooper; halfbother, Rex Cooper; niece, Laurencia L. Richardson; two nephews, Rodney J. Nash (Rachel) and LeVern E. Tappin, Jr.; two aunts, Nedra A. Owens and Jessie Ruth; two great-nieces, two great-nephews, and a host of cousins, other relatives, and friends.
