Obituary
Mr. Kevin Compton, 27 died at Kennestone Hospital in Marietta, GA on Sunday, july 13, 2011..
Born on May 13, 1987 in Chicago, Illinois. He later 1noved to
Georgia and lived most of his adult life in Powder Springs, GA.
He attended Kennesaw High school in Kennesaw, GA. Kevin was

a member of Old Friendship Baptist church in Marietta, GA.

Kevin was a skilled barber, and his hobbies included bowling, working on cars and NASCAR Racing. He also contributed to the launch of the Volunteer Home Hemodialysis progra111. Hemodialysis is a treatment that replaces the work of your own kidneys to clear wastes and extra fluid from your blood. He was a member of Men of Distinction.
Kevin was truly blessed. He was a volunteer organ donor and in doing so has saved another person's life.
He is survived by his rnother-LaShun T'rimble, father-Kin1 Compton, Sr., Step Father-Shaun Lee, three sisters-Shantelle McLin Gulius), Melanie Harrell (Brandon), Jennifer "Dia111ond" 'Trimble, Shannon '"frimble-Lee, one brother-Kin1 Cotnpton, Jr., maternal grandmother-Emily Tritnble-Jones, paternal grandmother-Valdia Lyke, aunts-Gelynn Compton, LaT'riciajones (Rodney Colquitt) and Uncle Keith T'ritnble a11d n1at1y n1ore aunts, uncles, cousins and his close friends.
He was preceded in his death by his 1naternal gratldfather-Barrie 'T"'rimble and paternal grandfather-Hern1an Compton.

Father I come to You, While not knowing which words I'd say... And now as I bow my head, I reach out to You as I pray
The world has been so brutal, But there is kindness to be seen; A land were many diseases dwell... But your love is the vaccine
We hold on to our faith, While being lost sheep in the meadow, All the while, trusting in You, Where ever You lead, we shall follow
There is so much corruption, And in many hearts there is greed... And not enough of believing, That You shall grant us all our needs
There are many children dying, By the hands of their beloved own, For so many lost sight of You, dear Lord ... And now You are absent from many homes
People are running from the churches, And more are flocking to the streets ... They have lost sight of You, dear Lord ... Their faith has taken a window seat
Are we not observing all the signs, Or listening to the howling winds ... Are we not made of your design, For then it may make sense
For all I know I am still holding on, To every thread of my belief And I will keep on keeping faith... As the power of prayer is my relief
I know that You are a Healer, Making well, a world that's ill And I know You can heal the hearts, Of those who go against Your will

Breathe inside of me love, a love that I can share. And allow me to forgive, when compassion seems not there.
Please take away the sorrow, all the hurt and the pain. But allow me to remember,
that I may see him once again.
You are my Guide and Refuge, 0 Lord, hear my soulful plea... As I stand firm in my faith, asking, that You please, strengthen me.
Thankful Prayer
Our Father which art in heaven, We thank You for granting us another day... And for those of us who did not make it, Salvation for their souls we request and pray
Thank you Lord for your comfort at this time, And every time since we needed You... Thank You for your precious forgiving love, Despite the paths we've been through
There are no expressions of gratitude That would ever completely suffice For our appreciation for Your Son And the sacrificing of His dear life ...
We thank you for His blood, In which washed our sins away... And we thank You for your compassion... As it renews us each and everyday
We are so grateful for Your Light. .. That guides us on this land, In which journeys with us in our hearts And lifts us when we on our own can't stand...
