OBITUARY
Mrs. Ida Mae Collins, 1886 - 1963
Mrs. Ida Mae Collins was born Ida Mae Crawford, the seventh child of William and Iris Shank Crawford at McDuffie County, Thomson, Georgia, December 11, 1886. She was married to the late Otis Collins of McDuffie County in 1901. To this Union, ten children were born: five sons and five daughters.
She was converted in 1904 and baptized in the Fellowship Baptist Church.
Six of the children are immediate survivors - four daughters: Mrs. Elnora Kinsey, Mrs. Ruth Smith, Mrs. Anne Rose Graves, Mrs. Veada Fulting - two sons: Mr. U. B. Collins and Mr. Cornell Collins. She has twelve grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren. A brother, Mr. John Crawford, 82 years young of McDuffie County also survives; and a nephew, Mr. Nathan Shields of Atlanta, Georgia.
The family moved to Bibb County, Macon, Georgia, and has lived here for fifty years.
Your work is done, your song is sung; your star shines very bright.
