True, he was a true Christian, a father figure for most kids growing up at Damascus and an Ambassador of good will from Damascus visiting many, many churches far and near.
There are very few people who did not kno\-v Mr. King. He always said, "If you want to have friends, show yourself friendly and if you want people to come to you, you need to go to them sometimes".
He was not particular what faith the churches claimed, saying "There will be no division in God's Kingdom".
So, Mr. King, I will miss you entering that side door and taking a seat. I will miss you singing "Pass Me Not 0' Gentle Savior", "When All God's Children Get Together" and "Amazing Grace" to mention a few. But most of all, I will miss you.
So, sleep on. After 90 + years of working in God's Vineyard, I guess you \-Vere ready to rest. I truly believe you made it over and you are resting safe in the arms of Jesus. I wish you God Speed.
PALLBEARERS Family & Friends
IN GRATITUDE
Perhaps you sang a lovely song, or sat _quietly in a chair.
Perhaps you sent beautiful flowers, if so we saw them there.
Perhaps you sent or spoke kind words, as any friend could say;
Perhaps you were not there at all, just thought of us that day.
Perhaps you prepared some tasty food or maybe furnished a car,
Perhaps you rendered a service unseen, near at hand or from ajar..
Whatever you did to console our hearts. We thank you so much - Whatever the part!

TOMORROW WITHOUT ME
When tomorrow starts without me, And I'm not there to see,
If the sun should rise and find your eyes All filled with tears for me,
l wish so much you wouldn't cry The way you did today,
While thinking of the many things, We didn't get to say.
I know how much you love me, As much as I love you,
And each time you think of me, I know you'll miss me too;
But when tomorrow starts without me, Try to understand,
That an angel came that day And took me by the hand. As we walked, I thought of all the love we shared, And of all the fun we had.
If I could re-live one yesterday, Just for a while, I'd say good-bye With a kiss and maybe see you smile. so when tomorrow starts without me,
Don't think we're far apart, For every time you think of me,
I'm right here in your heart.
