Sunrise Life for us is like an open book containing many chapters. The methods we use to write our chapters begins with us. Ecclesiastes 3:1,2 and 4 (paraphrased) simply states "To everything there is a season, a time to be born, a time to die, a time to weep and a time to embrace. "
The season for Pamela Denise Cody began on Thursday, May 13, 1965. She was born to the parentage of the late Mr. Erastus Cody and Ms. Essie Aiken of Covington, Georgia. The youngest of four siblings, she was always one that everyone turned to.
Life With a thirst for knowledge, she graduated from Newton High School and Dekalb Tech. All of her life she has been a member of Saint Paul African Methodist Episcopal Church where she was the former YPD Director and DMC Commissioner, a member and officer of the Women's Missionary Society, Couples Ministry and a devoted member of the Church Staff. She was a dedicated employee of The Standridge Company in So~ial Circle, Georgia for many years. ,
Her greatest loves came in three parts; the birth of her only child, Amelia Mills; her marriage to her husband, Mr. Willie Reese and the day she accepted the Lord as her Saviqur and provider.
Sunset As she quietly slept on Tuesday, December 20, 2011 the Lord called her home to be among the angels. Her earthly journey had been fulfilled, ending the final chapter ofher life. When the days are cloudy we always miss the warmth of the ~un. Or in this case, the warmth of her smiles, her hugs, her laughter. Whether you call her sister, aunt, cousin, wife, mother, or friend,
we have all been blessed with Mrs. Pamela Reese. Now, we are all blessed with one more angel to watch over us from afar. We have one more angel to shine down
upon us along with the light of God. So when our hearts get heavy wijh cloudy days,
we must remember her smile to cheer us, the words she used to defend us, the arms she used to hold us,
and remember the warmth of her love to carry us through.
