A Dedication to my Grandmother

A wife, a mother, a grandma too,

This is the legacy we have from you. You gave us strength; you gave us might.

A stronger person would be hard to find,

--

And in your heart, you were always kind.

You fought for us all in one-way or another,
Not just as a wife not just as a mother.
-
For all of us gave your best,

Now the time has come for you to rest. So go in peace, you've earned your sleep,

Your love in our hearts, we '11 eternally keep.

Love, Jasmine Clark

The Life Story Of Mamie Lois Clark
Mamie Lois Clark was born December 2, 1941, in Luella, Georgia to the late Sally Gladys Collins and Edward Smith Sr. She
accepted Christ at a young age, but then later in life; she became a Jehovah Witness. In 1961, she married Willie james Clark and
from that union was born three wonderful daughters.
She worked many years for Lerner Department Store and was last employed by Saul Bros. Manufacturing Company as a seam-
stress where she retired. During her life, she loved to garden, cook, and sew while still being dedicated daughter, mother and grandmother. She lived her life to the fullest as an Atlanta Fal-
cons and Braves fan. She was a member of local social clubs, which allowed her to travel across the country. She had a beauti-
ful smile that could warm the world. She was a patient peacemaker that never wanted to see anyone angry or upset.
On January 26, 2016, Mamie Lois Clark departed this life and is waiting to tend her garden in Heaven. She leaves to mourn three children, Sandra D. Hill, Gladys Michelle Clark, Lula Mae Clark.
Her three brothers, Edward Smith Jr., Willie Homer Smith and Roger Smith, preceded her in death. Four brothers Henry Smith, Larry Collins (Vickie), Wymon Hammond and Richard Smith; two
sisters, Carrie Dixon (James) and Patricia Collins. Eight grand children, Miesha Jester, Jakita Dalton, Jennifer Malone (Andy), Michael Clark, Demontez Lockett, Mario Clark, jasmine Clark and Antonio Hill, ten great-grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. She will be truly missed by all.
