To everyone that spoke a kind word, sent a card or flowers, we thank you. To everyone that visited during the brief time of her illness, or whatever act of kindness shared, we thank you. In time, our burden will become lighter and only sweet memories will remain. We thank you for all the sympathy and expressions of love shown in this transition period of our lives. May God richly bless you as you pray for us, we will pray for you. We love you.

Ms. Gwendolyn Clark-McLean, the second of three children, was born on May 14, 1953 in Fulton County to the late Willie Clark and Bertha (Polly) Clark. She has one sister, Eleanor Nolden and one brother, Stanley Clark. Gwendolyn departed our presence to be in the presence of the Lord on May 12, 2013.
She was educated at Bruce Street Elementary School and Lithonia High School in DeKalb County, Georgia. She also attended Minosa Beauty School in Atlanta, Georgia.
Gwen was a beautician, bus driver and food service worker for DeKalb County School System for twenty-eight years until her health failed.
Gwen joined Flat Rock United Methodist Church at an early age. She served as a faithful member of the choir.
In 1971, Gwen and William was joined in holy matrimony. To this union was born one daughter, Arlanda Allen-Fleming.
She is survived by one daughter, Arlanda Allen-Fleming; mother, Bertha Clark; one sister, Eleanor Nolden; one brother, Stanley (fareyton) Clark; two nephews, Darius Clark and Jarvis (Ashley) Clark; one niece, Tabatha Nolden; two great-nieces, Krista McFadden and Jadia Clark; a host of uncles, aunts, other relatives and friends.
