FOOTPRINTS
One night a man had a dream he was walking along the beach
with the Lord. Across the sky flashed scenes from his life. For each
scene, he noticed two sets of footprints in the sand: o~e belonged to him,
and the other to the Lord.
When the last scene of his -life flashed
back at the foot prints in the sand. He noticed

the way. But I h iced that during the most troublesome times in
my life there is on e set of footprints. I don't understand why when I
needed you most, you would leave me. " The Lord replied, "My precious
child, I love you and I would never l~ave you. During your times of trial
and suffering, when you saw only one set of footprints, it was then that I
carried you".

The Obit~ary
Byrdie Queenie Daniels Chisolm was _born March I 7, I 9 3 I in Orangeburg South Carolina to the late Dorcas Gadsen and the late Rev. Samuel Daniels Sr. She was the youngest of thirteen children. She received her high school ~~p.loma _as the _c~l111ination of her education in the Orangeburg County school system.
Having embraced God at an early age, she joined the Warren Chapel Baptist Church in Orangeburg; South Carolina. In 1950, she moved to New York to be with her sisters and brother, Bell, Alice, Helen, Evelyn and James wher~ fhe .worked as a data technician. There she joined Canaan Baptist Church under the leadership of the late Rev. Dr. E.M. Moore. She was a long standing, active and faithful member of many committees and the:choir including the Deaconess Board and the Sunshine Flower Club. In 1955 she met her 11Soul mate11 , the late Deacon Richmond 11Dick11 C~isolm Sr. They married on June 9,
1956. They were married 42 years -~t the time of his death in 1998.
From this union three children was born. The lord was first in Byrqies -life and she loved Him dearly.
Byrdie had a great sense of humor, ~he was a great wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, friend and neighbor. Her house was an open door policy where friends and neighbors could come and have someone listen to them and have their spirits lifte& She will be solely missed.
On February IS, 2006 Byrdies mansion was completed and she entered into eternal rest. She leaves to cherish her loving memory, three children, Bernadette, Richardeen and Richmond Jr., five grandchildren Keavonn, Maurice, Nyeema, Daquanna and Saquan, one brother-in-law, Benjamin Chisolm of' Philadelphia, PA., a host of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, her loyal aide, Caroline and the Canaan Baptist Church of Christ family.
TO MOMMY: There is no one who wm ever:give the love and guidance that
you have given and instilled in us over the years. You will be missed but treasured above all the rest.
