OBITUARY
Mario Andre Cheeley was born on May 4, 1965 in Atlanta, Georgia to Annie Renfroe Cheeley and the late I<enneth L. Cheeley. He was called home on Monday morning, June 11, 2012.
He attended Dei<alb and Fulton County Schools as well as Morehouse College, graduating from DeVry Institute of Technology, all located in the Metro Atlanta area. Mario was a computer programmer with the Internal Revenue Service in Atlanta and later transferred to the Maryland Office after a short time.
Mario joined Evergreen Baptist Church and was baptized by the late Reverend J. Tucker Sr. He later joined Greater Mt. Eagle Baptist Church under the leadership of Reverend W. E. Hubbard.
He was a fun loving person and a joy to be around. He was a soft spoken man with a big heart and a great sense of humor. Mario was loved by everyone that knew him.
Mario's memories will be cherished by his loving mother, Annie L. Cheeley, Decatur, GA; two brothers, Donald Gilliam, Warrenton, GA and Orrin Cheeley Sr., Decatur, GA; two sisters, Judy Gilliam, New York and Mildred Gilliam, Warrenton, GA; two nephews, Orrin Cheeley Jr., and Antonio DuBose; two great nephews, Brandon and Zabian; three nieces, Shikira, I<enedi and Heniah Cheeley; five uncles, Johnnie (Lucille) Renfroe, Stroudsburg, PA, Joseph Renfroe, Riverdale, GA, James Renfroe, San Bernadino, CA, Otis Cheeley, Atlanta, GA and David Worthy, Macon, GA; four aunts, Lillie Ruth Sakil, El Paso, TX, Pearl Stanley, Greenville, SC, Shirley Cheeley and Tempie Moore of Warrenton, GA; four great aunts, Lula Mae Tucker, Sandersville, GA, Vidalia Tucker, Decatur, GA, Geneva Cumming, Macon, GA, and Bessie Cumming, Warthen, GA; a close cousin/uncle, Willie Williams, Ellenwood, GA; four close cousins/aunts, Claudia I<eith, Lakeland, FL, Jean Williams and Mary Wilcher, Decatur, GA, Carrie Fuller, McDonough, GA, Mary Griffm, Ellenwood, GA, and Sandra Parks, Atlanta, GA, close cousins, Corey Griffm, Manteca, CA, Audrey Fuller, Pooler, GA, Tesha Woodard, Jonesboro, GA; special friends, Ethel, Donna, Kelly and Rick of Laurel, MD, and numerous relatives and friends.
