Mr. Eugene Alexander Calloway, lovingly known as "Winky", was born on August 3, 1973 in Charlotte, North Carolina. His family relocated to Atlanta, Georgia. Eugene made his transition to be with the Lord on Wednesday, September 28, 2016.
Eugene was educated in the Atlanta Public School System and graduated from Alonzo Crim High School in 1991. Uporitgraduation, Eugene enlisted in the United States Army. After serving in the military, he completedtractor trailer truck drivers' training at America's Driving Force.
Eugene accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. He loved to attend Israel Missionary Baptist Church with his wife, children, and other family members.
Eugene was known as fun loving, generous, kindhearted, and was always quick to help a person in need. His favorite past-time was fishing. He would fish all day every day if he could. Eugene had a desire to see the world and took many road trips.
Eugene loved us all and he will be deeply missed. In the hearts of those left behind, his memory will be cherished by his loving wife, Shontee Calloway; parents, Eugene Alexander Grier and Candice Delaine Calloway (Grayling Bolston, stepfather); grandmother, Mary Calloway; one son, Esau Calloway, Esau's mom, Yvette; three daughters, Deja, Shakerra and Jayla "Poii1dexter"; two brothers, D'Mario and Travis; one sister, Wanda; three aunts, three uncles, three sisters-in-law, two brothers-inlaw, and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other loving family and friends.
