May I go now? Don't you think the time is right? May I say goodbye to pain-filled days and endless restless night?
I've lived my life and done my best, an example I tried to be. So can I take that step beyond and see my spirit free? I did not want to go at first, I fought with all my might!
But something seems to draw me now to a warm and living light. I want to go! I really do! It's difficult to stay,
But I will try as best I can to live just one more day. To give you time to care for me and share your love and fears ,
I know you're sad and are afraid because I see your tears. I'll not be far, I promise that, and hope you'll always know,
That my spirit will be close to you wherever you may go. Thank you so much for loving me, you know I loved you too, That's why it's hard to say goodbye and end this life with you. Cherish my memory; as I know you will, and let me hear you say,
Because you care so much for me, you'll let me go today.

Mr. Wayne Scott Bunyan was born on February 26, 1945 to the late Steve Bunyan and Helen Fields, in Valdosta, Georgia.
He received his primary education at Jordan Grove Elementary School and graduated from Gibbs High School in St. Petersburg, Florida.
He met the love of his life Catherine Phillips in 1975. They were married February 7, 1992 in Miami, Florida. Together they loved eight children: Christine, Norman, Daryl, Cedric, Demetria, Genene, Torrey and Angel.
He accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and Lord. He joined K.ingdom Builders Covenant Church under the pastorate of K.. Francis Smith. The K.ingdom Builders Family will always remember his labor of love for the up building of the kingdom of the Lord, in addition to other services rendered throughout the church.
Wayne Scott Bunyan departed this earthly life for his eternal life on June 7, 2014. He was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Simpson.
He leaves to cherish his memory: a loving and devoted wife, Mrs. Catherine Phillips Bunyan; Ms. Christine Bunyan of New York; Mr. and Mrs. Robert Troy (Demetria Hobbs) of Atlanta, Georgia; Ms. Genene Bunyan of St. Petersburg, Florida and Mr. and Mrs. Levar Johnson (Angel Bunyan) of Atlanta, Georgia; Mr. and Mrs. Norman Hobbs (Shirley) of Atlanta, Georgia; Mr. and Mrs. Daryl Hobbs (Saundra) of Atlanta, Georgia; Mr. and Mrs. Cedric Hobbs (Tiawandra) of Atlanta, Georgia; Mr. and Mrs. Torrey Hobbs (Tanisha) of Miami, Florida; thirty-five grandchildren; six greatgrandchildren; sisters: Ruby Worthy, Lois Burnett, Raynette Harris; a very special niece, Evangela Burnett; sister-in-law, Charlene Mauldin; best friend, Alvin "Pop" Davis and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
