"The Joy ofHeaven"
Over the rainbow, above the clouds Through the mist, amid the shrouds
There is a land of joy and peace Where the Joy of Heaven will never cease
And in that land of pure delight There are no worries and smiles are bright
I'll be oh so happy and never alone For the Joy of Heaven is round God's throne
Along my journey, every step of the way My faith in God grew stronger each day My labors are finished, my work is done The Joy of Heaven has only just begun
God promised us all a home in glory You've read the Word, you know the story So don't be sad, or grieve, or weep for me
For the Joy of Heaven is mine, eternally

Sunrise began tor Carrie Arintha Reynolds Bryant on Friday, November 7, 1913 when she became one of nine adorable children born to the late Wylie and Jessie Snow Reynolds. She was a graduate of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic SchooL
Her church affiliation began at an early age as a member of Wylie Memorial Methodist Church. In 1942, Carrie transferred her membership to Fort Street Memorial Methodist under the pasturage of the late Rev. E. G. Newton. She was a faithful and active member in numerous organizations. Her love of music was instrumental in her becoming a member of Choir #1 and the Sanctuary Choir, serving as lead soloist in both. Carrie united with Ben Hill under the leadenhip of Bishop Cornelius Henderson. Failing health prevented her from . actively participating in organizations.
On Sunday, June 26, 1932, she married the love of her life, the late Woodrow Wilson Bryant. They honored their vows, "til death do us part" when 62 years of marriage ended with his death on Saturday, February l2, 1994. To this union two daughters were born Juanita and Gertie Jean. Carrie was a very caring, compassionate person who dearly loved her family.
She leaves to cherish her memory two daughters, Juanita and Gertie Jean, one sister, Mattie Grace Hammonds, one sister-in-law, Louise Reynolds, a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, great-great nieces, great-great nephews, cousins and friends.
