Ms. Juanita Brown, daughter of the late Tom and Debra Brown, was born on Sept~mber 26, 192:3, and departed from this earth to eternal life on F'ebrua:ry 12, l98G at Kings County Hospital in Bronx, New York.
She became a member of the Carter's Chapel Baptist Church at an early age. and remained a member unt.ilehe moved to Bronx, New York. She then attended Shearin Baptist Church where sheserved faithfully in her quiet mann{lr, throughout her life until her health began to fHil.
Ms. Brown was a loving mother, who exemplified h'r love for her children and grandchildren, through the personal sacrifice~-; she made for them. The scuned bands fron:1 cooking, washing, serving and nursing thos<~ who becam(; ill. How blessed we aH.) to witness the going for heavenly reception of one \Vho w~1s .such a jewel, a precious stone.
She leaves to cherish her memory five children: Mary L. Perry ofFrankJin, Virginia, Joyce Bass ofChesapeakf', Virginia, Chntred Ingram of Roanoke RHpids, North Carolina, Vametta Ennis of Bronx, New York, a:nd Rubin Brown of Baltimore, Maryland; t.hree sisters, Clarine Liggins of Newark, New .Jersey, Corine Johnson of Baltimore, Maryland, al)(l Cl.emetine Mason of Brooklyn, NeN York; twelve gra:nrkhildren, four great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
