Obituary
Mr. Jerry Eugene Brown, age 53, was called home December 8, 2013 while in the care of hospice of Atlanta, GA. God saw the pain and suffering cancer caused his child and he called him home to rest in peace.
Born on July 18, 1960 in Atmore, ALto Eugene Finley and Ruby Brown, he grew up to join the United States Army. He was honorably discharged from the United States Army in 1984 and shortly after moved to Atlanta, GA. He settled in Atlanta, GA and made it his home. He was a member of Atlanta North Seventh Day Adventist church. To his friends and family, he was always known as a hard worker. He worked at Ryder until succumbing to illness earlier this year.
He will be missed by all who knew him. He leaves to cherish his memory a wife Zidia Gonzalez Brown, daughters Jennifer and Katherine Brown, his brothers, Larry Finley, Kenneth (Glenda) Brown, Michael (Cheretha) Finley, Darry (Sheila) Finley, Terry Brown, Gary Brown, Earl Finley, Eric Finley, Eugene Finley, and his sisters Deborah (Calvin) Poole, Martha Brown, Sheila (Broderick) Smith, Shirley (Bobby) Watson, Toni Brown, Erica Finley. A host of Nieces' , Nephews and Cousins (Tanasha Walker.)
