OBITUARY
Mrs. Gertrude Brown was born May 9, 1900 in Macon, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. and Mrs. Richard Wilson. She was the widow ofthe late Mr. James E. Brown. She departed this life November 30, 1990.
Mrs. Brown was a member of the St. Paul A.M.E. Church where she served in the Missionary Society, the Choir and the Friendship Club. She was also a member ofthe Brothers and Sisters of Promise Society and the Union Brothers Society.
Survivors include: a devoted nephew, Mr. Frank E. Carswell of New York City; a niece, Mrs. Ida M. Hines of Kennesaw, Georgia; a sister-in-law, Mrs. Salone Berry of Atlanta, GA; a brother-in-law, Emory Brown ofAtlanta, GA; a great niece, Mrs. Rhoda Jones of Macon, GA; three great nephews, Mr. Hajji Abdullah, J oshuaJones and CraigWalton, all ofMacon; a dear friend, Mrs. Elaine Alexander ofAtlanta, GA; and a dear and devoted friend, Mrs. Willie Kay Lissimore of Macon, GA.
