There Is A Special Angel
There is a special Angel in Heaven that is part of us. It is not where we wanted him but where God wanted him to be. He was here but just a moment like a night time shooting star.
And though he is in Heaven he isn't very far. He touched the hearts of many like only an Angel can do. So we send this special message to the Heaven up above. Please take care of our Angel and send him all our love.

was born September 5, 1976 in Atlanta, Georgia to David Lee Brown, Sr.
and Ernestine Weaver Brown Garey. Eager to begin life, David arrived one month early full of spunk and excited to face a whole new world. God called this angel home on Sunday, May 4, 2014.
David's spiritual life began when he was baptized in the faith at Ben Hill United Methodist Church. He was confmned in 1988 and was active in the acolyte ministry with his younger brother Allen under the tutelage of Ms. Lillie Bell. He was also active in Boy Scouts and especially enjoyed camping and community service projects with his Dad, a leader of Troop #595. David was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes at age 12 and acceptance and management of this disease presented many challenges through the years.
No one had a bigger heart than David-he was willing to give you the shirt off his back if need be and all of his friends and family would attest to that. He loved animals, often bringing home a stray cat, dog or turtle for the family to take in. While very protective of his younger brother, he did not hesitate to use him often as a guinea pig to 'test things out'.
After graduating from Westlake High School, David began his work career at Sears Roebuck & Co. in the automotive department as a tire technician. An industrious young man, David exhibited a strong work ethic and inherited from his late Uncle Gene a love for the outdoors and working on vintage cars. Later employment stints included three years at Wayfield Foods and most recently five years at Cool Ray Heating
and Air in Canton, Georgia.
A divorced father, David was extremely proud of his two sons, Davius and Isaiah Brown, ages 13 and 7. He enjoyed spending quality time with his sons, exposing them to Atlanta's many cultural attractions and playing karaoke, football and tennis.
David enjoyed many of life's pleasures. Cooking was one of his favorite pastimes. He didn't hesitate to boast of his culinary skills, often inviting friends and family to experience his famous "Brown's Chicken Wings."
He leaves to cherish his memory two sons, Davius Lee Brown and Isaiah Lee Brown; parents David Brown, Sr. (Marjorie), Falls Church, Virginia and Ernestine Garey, Atlanta, Georgia; brother, Allen Brown, Atlanta, Georgia; great uncle, Aaron Ellis, Baltimore, Maryland; great aunt, Dorothy Weaver, Atlanta, Georgia; aunt, Myrna Edwards (McArthur), Lakeland, Florida; and a host of cousins and special friends.
