t A mother's love is something That rw one can explain. It is made of deep devotion And of sacrifice and pain. It is endless and unselfish And enduring came what may, For nothing can destroy it Or take that love away. It is patient and forgiving When all others are forsaking, And it never fails or falters, Even though the heart is breaking. It believes beyond believing, When the world around condemns, And it glows with all beauty Of the rarest, brightest gems. It is far beyond defining, It defies all explanation, And it still remains a secret Like the mysteries of creation. A many splendid miracle, Man canrwt understand. And arwther wondrous evidence Of God's tender guiding hand.
Your Loving Children, Marie, Michael and ]oe Fred

Family and Friends

"They are not dead wlw live in lives they leave behind; In tlwse whom they have blessed, they live a life again."
You have departed from the earth, but not our hearts. You are not a forgotten loved one, nor will you ever be, for as long as we live and our memories last, we will remember you. We will never forget the love you had for family dinners, get, togethers, your com pudding, waffles, and the Friday night
fellowships (The 52 Club) . We realize that we will not be the
only ones who will miss you because you were a friend to many people of all ages and walks of life. They, too, will miss the frequent fellowship for you were always there for them at every celebratory occasion. Many of them will also miss the freq~ent birthday, get well and sympathy cards you could be counted upon to send. Yet others will miss the ability to de, pend upon you for your telephone directory assistance, com, munity news and updates, and your archives of mementos and collectibles. We know we will miss you day by day. But we cannot say you are dead; you are just away.
Your Loving Family

She later worked outside of the home at the Stratford Hotel, General Washington Inn and the Princess Anne Hotel until her parents' health began to fail requiring Celestine to become their healthcare provider until they passed. She then became the childcare provider for many members of her extended family. Celestine later was employed by Bumbrey Cab Service from which she retired.
Celestine was committed to carrying on the Brown Family legacy of dedicated community service. As a cancer survivor, Celestine was a participant in the American Cancer Society's Annual Relay for Life, raising funds for cancer research.
