Mother Louise Blue

Mother Louise Blue, the knee child of ten siblings was born on January 27, 1925 in Ellaville, Georgia to the union of Aaron and Sally Lou Green.
Mother Blue moved to Tampa about 55 years ago. She joined First Baptist Church of Progress Village where she confessed Christ as her Savior under the leadership of the late Rev. B. T. Williams. Mother Blue was a member of the choir for many years and served faithfully until her health began to fail.
Mother Blue was an employee of University of South Florida where she retired after 20 years of service. She entered into a peaceful rest Friday, November 1, 2013.
She was preceded in death by her brothers; sisters and her parents.
Mother Blue is survived by 2 daughters, Shirley Alford of Pinellas Park, and Mary Ann Blue-Moses and husband, Ulysses of Tampa; 3 sons, Willie Blue and wife, Julie of Seattle, Washington, Nathaniel Blue and wife, Louisa of Orlando, Florida and Johnny Lee Blue of Tampa; 13 grandsons; 6 granddaughters; 11 great grandchildren; 10 great great grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and other relatives and friends.
