Florence Herbert Blue, dauahter o the late, Gussie and Bessie Delaney lierbert, was born Auaust 15, 1933, in
Beauort County, South Carolina. She departed this Ide
on Sunday, October 15,2006 at her ho1ne in Dale, South
Carolina.
"flo", as she .was ondly called by her amily and riends, received her education in the local public schools o Beaufort County. Upon completina her secondary education, she moved to Jersey City, New Jersey. While in New Jersey, she met James Blue who became the love
o her Ide and on February 28, 1954, they were united in
Inarriage. This union was blessed with our children, one dauahter, Evelyn Shaw, preceded her in death. flo was a person who loved helpin8 and carina or people and it was just natural that she used this talent as her lielona proession. She worked or many years as a home health care provider in Newark, New Jersey.
lier memory will orever be cherished in the hearts o her husband, James Blue o Dale, SC; two dauahters, Barbara Blue liutchinson o Dale, SC and Lenora Blue o Beauort, SC; one son and dauahter-in-law, James Blue Jr. and Donna o Dale, SC; three sisters, Lillie Mae li. AHord o Winston- Salem, NC, Willie Mae li. Covinaton o Jersey City, NJ and Mildrien li. Simmons o Newark, NJ; twelve arandchildren and thirteen areatarandchildren.
She is also survived by one son-in-law, liarold Shaw o lrvinaton, NJ; two sisters-in-law, Bettye Blue and Nancy
inaleton o Dale, SC; two devoted nephews, Curtis Antley o Dale, SC and Julius Pryor, Sr. o Stuart Point,
C: a host o other neohews. nieces, cousins and riends.
