Love's Remembrance
Gerald's charming ways and smiling face
are a pleasure to recall; He had a kindly word for each and died
beloved by all.
He suffered patiently and long, his hope was bright,
His faith was strong, The peace of Jesus filled his breast;
And in His arms he sank to rest.
All his toils and conflicts o'er. Lo, he dwells with Christ above; Oh, what glories he's discovered, in the Saviour
whom he loved.
You're not forgotten Gerald, dear; nor ever shall you be; As long as life and memory last, we shall always remember thee.
Gone is the face we loved so dear; Silent is the voice we loved to hear; Too far away for sight or speech; But not too far for thought to reach; Sweet to remember him who once was here; And who though absent, is just as dear.
His smiling way and pleasant face are a pleasure to recall; He had a kindly word for each and died beloved by all.

Memory Of
Eugene Blalock
Gerald Eugene Blalock, affectionately called "Gaybo" was born on
December 29, 1948 to parents Annie Ruth and Virgil Blalock; both of
whom preceded him in death.
Gerald grew up in Atlanta's 5th ward district in the historical Herndon
Homes area. He attended R.L. Craddock elementary then on
to Archer High School.
In 1970, Gerald married his lifelong sweetheart Juanita with whom he
recently celebrated forty-four years of marriage. To this union came three children: Gerald Antavious (preceding him in death), J ohan and
Hairiston. A quiet, yet wise gentle man, Gaybo enjoyed living life. Fun gatherings, yearly New Year's Eve's celebrations- good times were abundant at the Blalock Family get-togethers. There was certainly
never a dull moment- all the love spread by this Patriarch will always be
remembered. Just as Gerald celebrated the home goings of his son, Lil Gerald, his Mother, his sister Valerie Blalock, his brother, Richard Blalock and
niece Yvette; we now celebrate his home going with the same exuberance and passion that Gaybo spread during his lifetime. He will be sorely missed by his beloved wife Juanita and sons J ohan and
Hariston; also, his grandsons, N ataryun and Majik. May God comfort during their every moments.
In the wake of his passing among those who will also cherish beautiful Inemories are his Family: His sisters Sallie Martin, Virgie Gresham and
his brother, Lewis Martin (JoAnn, deceased); His Cousin, Montgomery Hunter (Rosalind); His Mother-in-law Mary Eluett; Sister-in-Law, Dorothy (Leonard);
His cousins, Hinton and Peggy Martin. His Nieces and Nephews-Jackie, Bernard, Phyllis (Harold, deceased),
Edward (Eula), Malia (Roland), Lee, Yvette (deceased), Tony (Shannon), Tiffany, Jeremiah, Bernard, Derrick (Melissa), Darlena & a
host of others.
