George Bingham was born in Rockingham County to the late Will and Mae Liza Hamlin Bingham on June 18, 1899. He departed this life on Thursday morning, August 6, 1981 at the Annie Penn Memorial Hospital.
He was a native of Rockingham County and a retired employee of Washington Gas Company of Washington, D. C.
He leaves to mourn their loss: his wife, Mrs. Sallie M. Bingham; three sisters, Ms. Lucy Wheeler, Ms. Bessie Galloway, and Ms. Gaydell Jackson, all of Eden; two brothers, William Galloway and Charles Galloway, both of Eden; other relatives and friends.
