OBITUARY
Mrs. Mildred B. 11 Bee" Billingslea was born February 16, 1941 in Warren County, Georgi a to the parentage of Rev. and Mrs. W.C. Pounds, Sr.
When she was still very young, Mrs. Billingsleas parents moved to Bibb County where she lived most of her life. She received her education in the Bibb County schools and was a former employee of the Medical Center of Central Georgia and the Hilton Hotel. She retired from Robins Air Force Base.
She joined the church at an early age and was a member of Trinity C.M.E. Church where she rededicated her life to God on Thanksgiving Day, 19860
Mrs. Billingslea departed this life on August 8, 1987.
She leaves to celebrate her homegoing a loving daughter, Janet Alexis Billingslea; a loving granddaughter, Brande Jones; her loving and devoted parents, Rev. and Mrs. W.C. Pounds, Sr.; one brother, Mr. William C. Pounds, Jr.; five sisters: Mrs. Mary P. Strozier, Mrs. Temperee Gainey, Mrs. Allene Cooper, Mrs. Margaret Carswell, and Mrs. Gracie Davis, all of Macon; several brothers and sisters-in-law, and a host of other relatives and friends.
