Mr. Ralph Benton, Sr. was born May 10, 1927 in Jasper County Georgia to Mr. and Mrs. Arnold Benton. He moved to Atlanta during the early yekrs of his life. He joined Grant Chapel A.M.E. Church and served as an usher on the Fannie Rawsaw Usher Board. He also served as a Steward of the Church. He departed this life Tuesday, July 3, 1984.
