God saw the roa-d was gettingtough. The hill was hard to climb,
He gently closed those loving eyes, And whispered, "Peace be thine"
The weary hours, the days of pain, The sleepless nights are passed. The ever patient worn-<>ut frame~ Has found sweet rest at last.
You bade no one a last farewell, you said good-bye to none, The heavenly gates just opened wide and the Masters sweet voice saicL 11Come"
Sleep on darling and take your rest I loved you, but God loves you best

You've done your work, You've sung your song

You've done some good, You've done some wrong

So goodnight, it'~time to rest

Cause God knows you're done your best.
